Hej i got this idea. Since Orkney norn dont have cases anymore like it use to have, it is most likely to be a word order language. So i suggest we use modern norwegian word order. For shetland norn i suggest we use modern icelandic or fareose word order. In my experience with icelandic, faroese and old norse. I have not yet mastere the case system and all the rules, so often when i read old norse i get confused when i dont know why this cases is used and what it then means. But i rarely get this problem in icelandic, because the word order seems very scandinavian to me. With faroese and icelandic, the word order often tells me what the cases dont. So by using icelandic / faroese word order for shetland, and norwegian for orkney. I think they should be able to talk with each other =)
