About the dictionary. I want to point attention to Jan De Vries - Altnordisches etymologisches Wörterbuch Which often shows the sheltandnorn and orkneynorn form of the old norse words he gives. So we actully got an old norse - norn wordlist. |

Hrafn- Is there a pdf ocr scan available of Jan De Vries - Altnordisches etymologisches Wörterbuch I would like to receive a copy if you have scanned it. Hnolt- I will help in filling in the tables if you create them. |

I don't think de Vries matters that much, because he took all his examples from Jakobsen and Marwick. |

Since when has Marwick and Jakobsen become irrelevant? I think it is really nice to know the word in old norse, and then could look the old norse word up and find the norn word ^^ |

This is how we translated it a few years ago: Gledelig jøl og gott nyår! (Shet.) Gleddelig jøl og gott nyår! (Ork.) |
