About the dictionary. I want to point attention to Jan De Vries - Altnordisches etymologisches Wörterbuch

Which often shows the sheltandnorn and orkneynorn form of the old norse words he gives. So we actully got an old norse - norn wordlist.

I don't think de Vries matters that much, because he took all his examples from Jakobsen and Marwick.

Since when has Marwick and Jakobsen become irrelevant? I think it is really nice to know the word in old norse, and then could look the old norse word up and find the norn word ^^

Gledelig jøl og gott nyår! (Shet.)
Gleddelig jøl og gott nyår! (Ork.)
