Anyone else familiar with this Shetland-based band? Anyone know if they have any interest in Norn? Maybe they could change the spelling of the band's name to Spjelmannslag (I think that's good Nynorn)! |

Thank you for the link, Brus! Yes, this is a band from Shetland but there's no signs if they have any interest in Norn.. "Fullsceilidh" has a strong Gaelic "accent" and "Spelemannslag" sounds rather Norwegian (where they do tour, as their website says), so judging from their name, they see it as a crosslink between Norway and Scotland, which Shetland actually is, but Norn is still forgotten somewhere.. probably something to work on, thanks for an interesting thought!
