a possible spider????

Mon Jan 29, 2018 11:41 pm

I was looking for the word spider to finish my translation of "there was an old woman...."

I couldn't find one so I was thinking mayby we could use

ederkjålk = poison jaw

jaw is masculine so I guess this would be too

I based my decision on the fact that Danish and Norwegian call a spider poison head and we have examples of similar name formation in Norn (four footed =cat, greyhead = mouse, brown one = otter and so on)

So are there any poisonous animals that need a Nynorn name? ederkjålk =????
