Fy vor or er i Chimeri. / Halaght vara nam dit. La Konungdum din cumma. / La vill din vera guerde i vrildin sindaeri chimeri. / Gav vus dagh u dagloght brau. Forgive sindorwara / sin vi forgiva gem ao sinda gainst wus. Lia wus ik? o vera tempa, / but delivra wus fro adlu idlu. Have we any idea how the Lord's Prayer would have been said in Norn on the Northern Isles of Shetland? |

I think there was a version of the Lord's Prayer from Unst or Fetlar. I don't remember where I could see it though, probably at Londi's website? I have to ask him about that. That version was almost identical to the Foula one, if I remember correctly (but what about -dl-?). |

UPDATE: A version of the Lord's Prayer has been recorded on Unst. It's temporarily unavailable, but I'll try my best to get hold of it. |
